		<description>A somewhat similar case form Ontario

Shane Smith (2004 (Year of Call)), of the City of Toronto, was found to have engaged in conduct unbecoming a student member by providing and selling, to a graduate student, papers that he and another student member had researched and written, with the knowledge that the papers would be submitted to a graduate school of business as the graduate student&#039;s work.

By Decision and Order dated December 20, 2007, the Hearing Panel ordered that:

    * Mr. Smith is reprimanded.
    * Mr. Smith shall pay a fine of $10,000 and costs of $1,000.
    * Mr. Smith is allowed 12 months from the date of this Order in which to pay the fine and the costs.
      (Counsel for the Society, Janice Duggan / Counsel for the Lawyer, Joseph John Markson)
