There’s also the intriguing reference in TV Vest to the UK Government sending a copy of the ADI decision to the ECHR for its consideration – with this and everything else in mind it would be very difficult for the ECHR to find in favour of the UK (or Ireland).

Hi Andrew, That would be great. I've always thought that the dismissal of VgT by the House of Lords in Pro Life and ADI would not convince the ECHR. As a consequence, I think that the decisions of the ECHR (Chamber and Grand Chamber) in VgT (No 2) (as well as in the earlier TV Vest) are very significant indeed, especially for ADI's application to the ECHR. A workshop on the theme would be great. What do you have in mind? Eoin.

I was speaking briefly not so long ago to Tamsin Allen of Bindmans who ran the ADI case in the UK, and learned that the case is going to Strasbourg. Seems this story is not over yet…

… why don’t we organise a workshop on the theme?
